President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is set to join the NPP Election 2024 campaign. A flyer posted by the Director of Communications at the Jubilee House, Eugene Arhin on his Facebook account said the President will be touring the Upper East and Upper West regions tomorrow , October 1.

The statement fell short of details of his activities, but The Thunder gathered that the President will use the tour to account for his stewardship to the people and emphasize why Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia should be voted for as President.

Testimony
On various platforms, President Akufo-Addo has emphasized that NPP presidential candidate Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has spent the last 16 years preparing to serve as President. For that reason, he has urged Ghanaians to elect Dr Bawumia to enable him to implement his innovative ideas to transform the nation.

“We need to work hard, we need to stay united, we need to stay united behind Bawumia and push him to make history and to get him to be the person who breaks the eight for us.

“He is a very capable man. I have sat in meetings with him for the last 16 years, he is full of ideas, he is full of energy and he is very serious about the development of our country and he has prepared himself to be President,” Nana Akufo-Addo said in an address to the leadership of the NPP-USA chapter in New York on Sunday, September 22, 2024.
