President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo firmly believes that Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is the best candidate to guide Ghana into the fourth industrial revolution.

During a two-day trip to the Northern, North East, and Savanna regions, he encouraged the people of Mamprugu to back Bawumia as he prepares for his presidential run.

In his call for support, President Akufo-Addo highlighted that Dr. Bawumia has innovative ideas and solid plans to move the country forward.

He pointed out, “he is not suggesting 24-hour discotheques,” stressing Bawumia’s commitment to meaningful policies.

The President also reflected on their partnership over the last sixteen years, praising Bawumia’s skills, intelligence, and integrity. He confidently remarked, “If the people of Ghana agree with me and give him a chance, he will be a great President.”

Speaking to the Nayiri and the people of Mamprugu, President Akufo-Addo asked for their support for Dr. Bawumia, emphasizing his capability to lead the nation. He compared their leadership transitions, saying, “You will never know who will follow you, but I will know who will succeed me.”
In closing, the President urged everyone to come together in support of Bawumia, stating, “I’m here to ask for your support to ensure that your son, my Vice President, Mahamudu Bawumia, takes over from me.”
