Gen Z for NAPO, a group of dynamic young persons committed to rallying behind NPP’s vice presidential candidate, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh to carve a brighter future for Ghana, participated fully in the mammoth health walk of the party in Takoradi on Saturday, August 17.
Early in the morning, hundreds of members of the group were at the starting point of the walk, and together with leaders and other supporters of the NPP, did the 9km walk to herald the party’s manifesto launch.
The walk was led by Dr Opoku Prempeh, a.k.a. Napo.
The elated crowd later gathered at the Police Park at Effiakuma where they were addressed by leading members of the party.
In an address, Napo said inspite of the global economic challenges resulting from COVID-19 and the Russia war in Ukraine, the NPP has performed creditably and deserves a second term. He said the youth of the country need jobs and the NPP is poised to address that.
