In a rare demonstration of God’s blessing, Prophet Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah removed his apron, used it to cover NPP presidential candidate, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, and declared, “ With God, it is possible”. “ Lord I have covered your servant with my apron, let it be possible,” he said as he prayed for Bawumia. He added that, a year by now, the apron would “serve as a testimony “.

Fellowship

Dr Bawumia , together with his running mate, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, and other leaders of the NPP were at the Believers Worship Centre, popularly known as Philadelphia, in Kumasi on Sunday, December 1, to worship with the congregation and seek God’s blessings in the elections. Prophet Adom Kyei-Duah, who is the Founder and General Overseer of the church, prayed for God to give Dr Bawumia the opportunity to serve as President.

Blessings

Dr Bawumia emphasised that, without God, nothing is possible. “Today, I am climaxing my campaign in the Ashanti Region and I have decided to come here to receive blessings before the campaign ends.

Hard work

Dr Bawumia stated that the government had worked very well, mentioning for instance the education sector where President Akufo-Addo and NAPO are acknowledged for the effective implementation of the free SHS. He added: “There are many policies that have not yet been completed. By the grace of God, when I become President, I will complete them”.

LGBTQ Bill

He gave an assurance that he will quickly sign the LGBTQ Bill into law when he becomes President. “I will also enforce the anti witchcraft law. It is of great importance to me,” he added.

Ghana Pilgrimage Authority

Dr Bawumia announced that as President, he will establish a pilgrimage authority to help Muslims and Christian embark on pilgrimages to Mecca and Israel respectively. Dr Bawumia made a donation of GHc100,000 to the church while NAPO added GHc 50,000.
