The Dormaahemaa, Odeneho Akosua Fima Dwaben, has commended Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh for his humility and prayed that his quest to become the country’s next Vice President becomes a reality.

Speaking when the NPP vice presidential candidate paid a courtesy call on her at Dormaa Ahenkro in the Bono Region on Sunday, November 10, the Dormaahemaa said she had known Dr Prempeh ( Napo) to be respectful, honest and hardworking public officer, adding that he deserves to be Vice President. “You will be an excellent President,” she added.

The atmosphere at the palace was a sight to behold as the queenmothers under the authority of the Dormaahemaa, joined forces to welcome Napo with some making the number 1 sign of the NPP on the ballot paper.

Partnership
Napo explained that his visit was to further consolidate the promised partnership between a Dr Mahamudu Bawumia presidency and traditional authorities.

He thanked Odeneho Fima for giving him tremendous support throughout his public service.
He said her decision to gather all 50 queenmothers under her authority for his visit further demonstrates her commitment to the progress of the nation.

The vice presidential candidate further expressed gratitude to Dormaahemaa for her prayers, gift and blessings.

Life-changing policies
Napo stated that it was heartening to hear nananom queenmothers, as agents and advocates of development, commend the life-changing policies of the NPP government such as Free SHS, Agenda 111, and free maternal healthcare.

“These transformative initiatives are undeniably novel creations of the NPP government, and they inspire a strong belief that under Dr Bawumia’s leadership, Ghana will enter a new era of growth and transformation.

“We remain resolute in our efforts to secure a decisive victory for the many families whose hopes rest on the protection of Free SHS.”
