John Dramani Mahama has not shown a clear vision for the youth and should therefore be rejected in the elections, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has said.

According to the NPP flagbearer, the twice-defeated presidential candidate of the NDC posed danger to the development of the youth , and must not be entertained. Rather, he ( Bawumia ) represents the future of the youth for which reason he asked them to give him their votes.

Speaking at his community connect events at Abetifi, Mpraeso and Akyem Asafo in the Eastern Region on Wednesday, August 28, Dr Bawumia said he has not been President before and has clearly outlined his new vision and bold solutions for Ghana, which includes a clear vision for the youth.
This vision for the youth is anchored on areas including education, TVET, ICT training.

At Akyem Asafo in the Abuakwa South Constituency where he addressed thousands of people mostly the youth, Dr Bawumia said, despite being President before, Mahama is yet to shown a clear vision for the country.

Mahama’ s poor performance
Still taking the fight to Mahama for his poor performance as President, the NPP flagbearer stated, “The good people of Ghana gave him the opportunity but he performed poorly and he became the only President to be voted out of office for poor performance. He came again and he was rejected again.”

Confused policies
Dr Bawumia said what is even more disgusting is that the former President is propagating policies that are confusing the people.

Dr Bawumia fired: “Now he is saying 24 hour economy will be used for night clubs. Is this the policy he is bringing for the progress of young people?”
The crowd responded, “no”.
