Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the Presidential Candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has claimed that the NPP government has surpassed the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in every sector, even while dealing with global issues such as COVID-19 and the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

During a community meeting in Akrofuom, Ashanti Region, on Tuesday, November 12, Dr. Bawumia remarked, “Despite COVID-19 and other global crises, we have outperformed Mahama in every part of the economy.”

“We have generated more jobs, constructed more roads, railways, airports, schools, libraries, sanitation facilities, and enhanced cocoa and agricultural jobs.

“We have also developed more industries and Zongo areas. In every sector, our achievements exceed yours.

“That’s why I challenged the former President to name one infrastructure project he has completed that has helped the country. Just one, and he hasn’t been able to do it.

“I also invited him to debate me, but he declined. He backed down like a coward; he is afraid.”
