President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has urged the people of the Upper East Region to strongly support the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and its candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, in the upcoming December elections.

He highlighted that Dr. Bawumia represents the hopes of many Ghanaians as the elections draw near.

The President asked voters in the region to choose the NPP by selecting the first option on the ballot.

He made these comments while visiting the Chiefs and elders of the Upper East Region during a one-day tour on Tuesday.

“I am here to report on my time in office, thank you for your support, and encourage you to think carefully about who will take my place and continue the policies that have brought relief and progress to our nation,” he said.

He also noted, “This election is straightforward; just look for the elephant at number one on the ballot.”
