The Chiefs and residents of Ejura in the Ashanti Region have shown strong support and sent a heartfelt message to Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) candidate for the presidency in the upcoming election.

During his visit to Ejura as part of his tour in the Ashanti Region, Dr. Bawumia met with important figures, including traditional and religious leaders.

The Chief of Ejura, Barima Osei Hwedie II, warmly welcomed him and praised his dedication to the development of both the region and the country.

Barima Osei Hwedie II spoke about Dr. Bawumia’s positive impact, mentioning his help in resolving Ejura’s long-standing water supply problem.

He recalled, “We once met at Manhyia and shared our water issues with you. You promised to assist us, and you did. Now, thanks to your efforts, Ejura has plenty of water, and the past problems are gone.”

The chief also mentioned Dr. Bawumia’s assistance in repairing the dining hall roof at Ejura’s secondary school, which had been damaged by a storm, and providing a modern astro turf for the youth.

“You have personally ensured that the roof of our secondary school is being fixed after the storm. Plus, you’ve given our youth a modern astro turf, among many other things you’ve done for us.”

Barima Osei Hwedie II confirmed Ejuraman’s strong support for Dr. Bawumia, saying, “Ejuraman has made a decision, and I support it: wherever you go, we will be right there with you. We will stand by you, until the return of Jesus Christ.

”The chief offered his prayers for Dr. Bawumia, wishing him success in his presidential bid. “Our prayer is that may your goodness, kind heart, and determination to transform this country be rewarded by God so that His favours smile on you to become the President of Ghana.

“How you do your things, and the things you say, clearly show that you are a deep thinker. You are someone who should be blessed to become the President of Ghana.”

Additionally, Barima Osei Hwedie II endorsed Gifty Ndoma, the NPP Parliamentary Candidate for the Ejura Sekyidumase Constituency, emphasizing that with Dr. Bawumia as President and Ndoma as MP, Ejuraman would see further development and progress.
