The running mate to the flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, has assured Ghanaians that Dr Mahamudu Bawumia’s government will introduce policies that will benefit all Ghanaians.

“The incoming Dr Bawumia-led NPP government’s policies will benefit all the citizenry in the 16 regions. We shall not discriminate because we have one Ghana to develop,” he stated.

Dr Opoku Prempeh, popularly known as NAPO, said as a development-oriented leader, Dr Bawumia was passionate about transforming the country and would not discriminate against anybody.

Tepa Durbar
At a durbar at Tepa in the Ashanti Region last Wednesday, he reiterated his appeal to the electorate to cast their ballots for Dr Bawumia and the NPP parliamentary aspirant for Ahafo Ano North, Eric Nana Agyemang-Prempeh, who is also the Director-General of the National Disaster Management Organisation.

Unapparelled Luxury
He said the NPP was a national political party which accommodated people from various backgrounds, irrespective of their religious, tribal, financial or social status.

Jobs
Dr Opoku Prempeh said the NPP’s eight years in government had helped to provide jobs for most of the citizenry, especially the unemployed youths, who had no hope of getting jobs.

“The Graduate Unemployment Association was formed by some frustrated youth who had graduated from school but could not get jobs during the reign of the NDC government.”

“Because of the good works of the NPP, the Graduate Unemployment Association is no more”, he noted, saying it was important for the NPP to stay longer in power not only to provide more jobs but to support businesses to thrive.
