EMY Africa is proud to announce the highly anticipated Africa Rising Symposium, scheduled to take place on Thursday, 19th June, 2025, at the Accra International Conference Centre. Under the powerful theme, “Africa’s Defining Decade: Innovation, Leadership, and Global Influence,” this premier gathering will launch the prestigious EMY Africa Expo 2025, a dynamic fourday celebration of African excellence, entrepreneurship, innovation, and culture.

The maiden edition of the Africa Rising Symposium was successfully organised in collaboration with the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in June last year, laying a robust foundation for ongoing discourse and partnerships.

The Africa Rising Symposium has become an influential platform, attracting renowned thought leaders, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and innovators from across the continent and the global diaspora. Attendees will engage in thought-provoking panel discussions, insightful keynote addresses, and strategic networking sessions, all dedicated to exploring Africa’s evolving global role and unlocking opportunities for sustainable growth.

Some of the featured speakers for this symposium include Vusi Thembekwayo, Dr.

Ernest Ofori Sarpong, Dr. James Orleans-Lindsay, Alex Dadey, Patricia Obo-Nai, and Valerie Labi, who will provide unique insights and perspectives on key issues shaping Africa’s future. The symposium will address critical topics including digital transformation, sustainability, youth empowerment, creative economies, and strategic leadership essential for Africa’s growth and global influence.

EMY Africa remains committed to celebrating and amplifying African voices and excellence. This year’s symposium promises unparalleled engagement and actionable insights, setting a powerful agenda for Africa’s next decade.

Registration is now open and interested participants, organisations, and media representatives are encouraged to secure their spots early.
