In what passes as a meeting with the true men of God, the NPP presidential candidate, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has interacted with members of the Ghana Catholic Bishops Conference.

The meeting took place at the Pope John Paul Formation Centre, Ofoase Kokoben in the Ashanti Region. The bishops conference was led by its President, Most Rev Dr Matthew Kwasi Gyamfi.

Discussions
In a post on his social media accounts, Dr Bawumia expressed gratitude to the Men of God for the open, frank and insightful discussions on important national issues, including the December 7 elections and the moral fibre of the society. “I am particularly grateful for the fatherly advice. May God bless us all,” he stated.

Bawumia will win one-touch
Meanwhile, Dr Bawumia continue his campaign tour of the Ashanti Region, accompanied by some party officials.

Addressing party supporters, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NPP, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, a.k.a. Chairman Wontumi has confidently that, “ by fire, by thunder, Dr Bawumia will be the next president”.

Buoyed by massive crowds that poured out in the Bekwai, Bosomtwe, Ejisu, Asokwa and Oforikrom constituencies to meet the NPP presidential candidate, Wontumi said, the victory will be one-touch.
“We will win the December polls. We are winning on the first try, with no rerun. On December 7, victory is on our side. We are winning”.

Go out and vote
The regional chairman urged voters in the region to go out and vote in their numbers. He further told the people that after casting their votes, they should stay vigilant to protect their ballots until Dr Bawumia is declared the winner.

Wontumi also urged the people to vote for all NPP parliamentary candidates to ensure that the party has a clear majority in parliament.
