NPP Council of Elders Meets with 2024 Election Review Committee to Discuss Electoral Loss

On Tuesday, February 25, the National Council of Elders of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) met with the 2024 Election Review Committee to formally present their insights, observations, and perspectives on the party’s poor performance in the recent general elections.

The document submitted by the National Council of Elders contains key recommendations and strategic proposals aimed at strengthening party organization and improving future electoral outcomes.

A statement issued by the Election Review Committee confirmed their commitment to engaging all relevant stakeholders as part of their comprehensive review process.

Attendance

The meeting was attended by Hackman Owusu-Agyemang, Chairman of the National Council of Elders; Prof. Christopher Ameyaw-Akumfi; Ing. Dr. Abease; and Dr. Glover-Quartey. The presentation of the document was led by Prof. Ameyaw-Akumfi.
