Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, also known as Napo, has claimed that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is the only party in Ghana that creates policies for the benefit of all citizens, regardless of their background.
He made this statement during a public event, praising the party’s focus on initiatives that help people. Napo highlighted the NPP’s dedication to inclusive governance, noting how its policies have met important needs in health, education, and social welfare.
He mentioned the Free Senior High School policy as a key achievement that has allowed many Ghanaian students to access education. Dr. Prempeh also pointed out the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) and free maternal healthcare as significant programs that have reduced financial stress for families while improving healthcare access.
He argued that these successes distinguish the NPP from other parties, which he believes do not have the same positive impact on everyday Ghanaians.
The NPP running mate stressed the party’s goal of creating a fair society where everyone can succeed. He encouraged Ghanaians to keep supporting the NPP to further develop these beneficial programs for future generations.
Dr. Prempeh stated, “Only good governments create policies for everyone’s benefit. The NPP has shown it is a people-focused government through initiatives like NHIS, free maternal healthcare, and Free SHS.”
