The Vice-Presidential Candidate of the ruling New Patriotic Party, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh popularly known as NAPO has challenged Ghanaians to vote to show former President Mahama that you don’t have short memories.

Taking a swipe at John Dramani Mahama for the comment he made that Ghanaians have short memories, Napo said Ghanaians rather remember all the failures and plain disregard to their plight during his time as President.

Speaking to the chiefs and people of Ayomso, Fawohoyeden and nearby communities in the Asunafo North Constituency in the Ahafo Region, the NPP running mate said Ghanaians vividly remember statements and happenings such as “I am not a magician to provide jobs,” trumpeted by former President Mahama when the people demanded accountability from him.

He indicated that Ghanaians also remember the pervasive ‘dumsor’ lasting four years and its associated hardships, the cancellation of nursing and teacher training allowances, and more which they are currently enjoying and all these are going to speak during election day.

Comparison

Napo said Ghanaians will also compare the NDC and NPP records in key sectors like education, health, energy, and infrastructure, concluding that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is the man to ensure the continuation of our current gains and more.
He urged the people to re-elect Evans Opoku Bobie to Parliament for effective governance.
