The Member of Parliament for Bawku Central, Mahama Ayariga has urged the people of Bawku to remain committed to the peace process being led by the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.

Refreshingly, he said, the overlord of Kusaug, Zugran Naba Asigri Abugrago Azoka II and the overload of Mamprugu, Nayiri Naa Bohagu Mahami Sheriga have committed themselves to the Otumfuo peace process and are fully participating in it.

In a statement issued by Ayariga, who is also the Majority Leader in Parliament, he condemned the violence in Bawku, saying that should not be used to settle the long standing Bawku dispute.
