Despite exiting early in a disappointing campaign, Hasaacas Ladies forward Grace Animah has made it into the WAFU Zone B Best XI.

The competition that served as the qualification to the CAF Women’s Champions League main stage was held in Cote D’Ivoire.

Hasaacas Ladies represented Ghana in the tournament but exited at the group stage after bagging four points from three games.

In Group B, Hasaacas Ladies drew goalless with Burkina Faso’s Omnisport, lost 3-0 to Edo Queens of Nigeria and hammered AS Garde of Niger 6-1.

Omnisport qualified in second place ahead of Hasaacas thanks to spotting a goal difference of +4 while Hasaacas registered a goal difference of +2.

After scoring twice in Hasaacas’ 6-1 win over AS Garde, Grace Animah made it into the Zone’s Best XI following the conclusion of the tournament after impressing with her all round play.
