Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh has received overwhelming support for his campaign, his spokesperson, Fiifi Boafo has stated.

Speaking on Accra-based Neat FM, Boafo said it is evident that the NPP running mate’s message is being accepted by the people, and thus dealing a big blow to the NDC. “Dr Prempeh is effectively selling Bawumia’s vision to the nation , and everything is going on well,” he said.

Napo, as the running mate is well known, has so far visited regions including Western, Central, Ashanti, Bono and Bono East, canvassing for votes for the NPP flagbearer, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and NPP parliamentary candidates.

Focus
Explaining the direction of the running mate’s message , Mr Boafo said, he is is focusing on issues including jobs. “Dr Bawumia, our flagbearer, has a focus on jobs for the youth, sustaining and improving the free SHS among other things and this is what Dr Prempeh is conveying to the people,” he stated.

Mahama has lost touch
Answering questions on the NDC flagbearer, John Mahama, the spokesperson stated, “John Mahama has lost touch with people, and does not know the realities of the day no wonder he has made 24-hour economy his flagship campaign policy. “Now he tells us he will promote night clubs 24 hours. What is this?“

Mr Boafo is convinced Mr Mahama and the NDC did not think through the policy before bringing it out. “What Ghanaians are looking for is jobs and that is what Dr Bawumia is promising.”
